I'm an System Administrator, DBA, and jack-of-all-trades with technology with a longstanding commitment to working in nonprofits and social services. From my experience in both front line services and behind-the-scenes administration, I work effectively in both settings. I also find that I'm most valuable on projects that bridge these two worlds that sometimes seem so apart. Some of the accomplishments I've made in this bridging role include restructuring program service models, going paperless with paperless Medicaid billing, auditing to comply with federal funder requirements (HUD), training staff, building a catalog of user-friendly resources, implementing electronic signatures, and communicating real time performance to the executive team (with dashboards). Essentially, I like to apply my diverse range of technical and personal skills in ways that have the most impact and help those in need.
