As a specialist in information security, my education has centered on digital information and computer science skills and includes: Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (MSEE)-Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing (FER) 1989 – 1996. • Twenty three years of professional experience in ICT industry • Fifteen years of consulting experience in information security and risk management • Ten years of experience in running the educational service for GRC (Governance, Risk,Compliance) • Certified PECB Trainer • Certified Project Manager – PECB Certified ISO 21500 Project Manager (PMP and PMBOK knowledge) • 10 years experience in telecommunication industry • Two years experience in system integration healthcare industry (HL7 HIS, PACS, Networking, Archiving, etc) • Five years experience as ISO27001 Internal Auditor • DQS Lead Auditor for ISO27001 since 2015 • Security Auditor for Industrial Systems – SCADA • Certified Lead Implementer for ISO22301 – Business Continuity Management • Owner and moderator of Business Continuity Management Conference – BCM-Adriatic (2013-2015) • SCADA security experience I also have an active oral and written knowledge of English and German, as well as the basics of Italian and Arabic. My work experience encompasses various positions across sales and software engineering, and I am currently employed as Managing Director at Advanced Business Systems Ltd. This role includes risk management, and IT security and compliance, and my expertise in ISO 27001 has allowed me to become a Lead Auditor for Information Security Management system according to ISO 27001. Maintaining my personal development and keeping abreast of new technologies, management and foreign languages is an important aspect of the enhancement of my ongoing skill set. To fulfill this, I ensure I make time to keep up-to-date with any new advancements. Sport is also one of my passions, and I have various interests, including tennis and judo. During high school and through further studies I was an active Judo competitor with 3rd DAN degree. I achieved the status of national champion in the middleweight category in 1992 and 1996 and 5th place on the European Judo championship for veterans in 2017.
