I began my college career as a student of Engineering at Florida International University, in Spring 2013. After starting with a major in Mechanical Engineering, my love for math and problem-solving led me to consider other careers as well. Starting in Fall 2015, I worked toward a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, with an Applied Mathematics track with a minor in Statistics, and graduated in December 2017. My work for the school as a Learning Assistant for the Mastery Math Lab kept me in the math environment and inspired me to keep working in the field. This position taught me how to help others interpret mathematical concepts that they are unfamiliar with. This has led to a very exciting and educational analytics position at One Park Financial in Coconut Grove, Miami. In this position I worked with the Marketing team to develop new reporting methods and a new BI platform for leadership. I also worked with other departments including Operations, Sales, Accounting, and IT to identify improvements, areas of opportunity, and possible business process solutions. I apply my mathematical and analytical skills to solve problems and help make informed decisions as a company. Aspiration: To continue learning how to work in different parts of the analytics field efficiently, master and deeply understand the concepts in the field to build a better foundation for future positions and manage greater responsibilities.
