Bachelor of Art from Dongdok Teacher Training College in 1995, where it has currently been converted from 1997 into University of Laos until present. A bit over ten years work experiences in rural and community development in Laos with different International Development Organizations. It is actually quite diversed work experiences, which is ranging from interpreter/translator and assistant to external expertise, to some experiences in road safety, market chain study for agricultural products, land use planning, gender inclusiveness, M&E and community development work in mining sector, as well as some years of work experiences with state enterprise company in the field of logistics and procurement. Currently, I am working as a technical translation specialist at Department of Mine, Ministry of Energy and Mine, under the Hydropower and Mining Technical Assistance Project - financially granted by World Bank. In sum, all together is about a bit over 15 years work experiences I am also currently planning to complete my master thesis on "Mining and Sustainable Community Development" in Laos. A case study on a comparision between an International Industry Standard practices operated by Phou Bia Mining, MMG Sepon Mining and Phonsak Group Mining. The objectives is to envisage and differentiate their mining methodologies and approaches and how much for their compliances with Lao mining laws and regulations having been carried out as well as their obligations compliances to sustainable community development.
