Created and led a unique delivery model - a single, integrated set of services encompassing the following operational areas: Claims Adjudication, Customer Service Call Center, Enrollment/Eligibility Services, COBRA, Premium Billing, Consumer Driven Health Services (FLEX, HSA, HRA) and Medical Management - Case Management and Utilization Management. In the VP role, led the creation of new lines of business as well as the due diligence and subsequent operational integration of several acquisitions. Contained costs in a period of significant regulatory change, geographic expansion and new service lines, by driving enhanced productivity through core system upgrades and business process improvements. While at POMCO Group, served on the Board of Directors of Health Insurance Company of America, a commercial insurance entity. Over 18 years experience in financial and strategic management positions with United Technologies Carrier Corporation, including accounting, treasury, financial planning and analysis and strategic planning. Extensive experience in audit and accounting in Mexico and South America, including Controller of a manufacturing joint venture in Brazil. Led strategic planning for Carrier's North American Operations, focusing on channel strategy.
