As the Foreign Rights Director at Izdavačka kuća Laguna, I lead a team of professionals who are passionate about bringing the best of Serbian literature to the world. I have a Bachelor's degree in English language, Literature and Culture from Filološki fakultet, Univerzitet u Beogradu, and I speak three languages fluently: English, French, and Greek. I have over eight years of experience in the publishing industry, working my way up from an assistant to a manager to a director. I have successfully negotiated and executed contracts, invoices, and reports for the entire foreign rights department, organized and oversaw overseas transportation, and introduced new incentives and systems that improved communication, efficiency, and profitability. I have also managed external relations with embassies, foreign authors, and partners, and researched and applied for translation grants that brought extra revenue to the company. I have a proven track record of book promotion, editing, and marketing, and I have contributed to the company website with articles and translations. I am motivated by the challenge and the reward of sharing the stories and culture of my country with the world.
