Dorothea is Senior Scientist at the National Commission on Research, Science and Technology. Her passion lies in the areas of Biochemistry, Biotechnology and Molecular biology. She posses a Masters of Science degree in Medical Biochemistry from JSS Medical College, India in addition to a Bachelors of Science(Honours) Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. She is an experienced medical researcher with a demonstrated history of working in a clinical biochemistry, molecular diagnostic and experimental pharmacology laboratory. Currently, she is working on understanding the “Role of PPAR-gamma gene polymorphism in the development of Type 2 diabetes.
