I am currently working as a veterinary technician in a small animal clinic in Puerto Rico. I work full time with clients and their pets to help these small animals leave with treatments and happy with the results. I love what I do and am looking to grow in my field of study which includes a Bachelors in Animal Science with a Minor of Business administration from the University of Puerto Rico Mayagüez Campus, and also a Veterinary Technician Associate Degree from the University Ana G. Mendez, Gurabo Campus. These past years I've helped run a rescue that saves around 200 animals a year. We rescued dogs and cats from all over Puerto Rico with the purpose of rehabilitating them and finding them their forever homes. I was in charge of making sure all the lives we saved are completely healthy, getting them into foster, driving them around the island, interviewing their forever homes and getting them from Puerto Rico to their forever homes, wherever it may be.
