About
On the record
My name is Tomas U•••, a product designer and enthusiast that has graduated with a master's degree in the field of Innovation Management (IM) at the Eindhoven University of Technology. At this moment, I have started as a Product Manager at Nexmosphere. In my Industrial Product Design bachelor and during my work experience as a product designer, I've learned to decisively execute a full product development process, from initial sketches to deciding on the fitting production and assembling technique(s). My IM master contributes to that knowledge by enriching the competition and marketing aspect of those products. How can I optimize the perceived value of a product? How can innovation help bring in new customers and strengthen existing customer relations? How can established companies reach the innovation and flexibility levels of new (high-tech) start-ups? In my career, I want to be part of a team that comes up with new product ideas and builds on old ones, that follows trends and can therefore tap into new markets with existing and new products, that outlines the lifetime cycles of those products, that creates the business model or value proposition (incl. revenue model, etc.) for that product, that manages the portfolio of the company (i.e. those different products), that ensures the creation of great customer experiences with those products, that looks at new options for an existing business model/value proposition such as offering a service subscription (leasing/licensing) instead of selling the product (servitization). Furthermore, due to my bachelor's in Industrial Product Design and my work experience as a product designer/constructor, I'm proficient in most 3D CAD software and do certainly not mind getting busy with a (digital) pencil. In short, I want to bring products to market and keep them there within a (marketing or/and R&D) innovation-focused team.
