John is the Manager of the Experimental Systems Unit at Chevron's Richmond Technology Center. His unit supports the scientists, chemists and researchers on site in developing and testing out new catalysts, surfactants and other technologies in the oil and energy fields. The High Pressure Process Center operates 24/7, 365 days a year. They support the base oil operations at the Richmond and Pascagoula refineries and LC-Fining processes for the JV operations in Singapore, Thailand and South Korea. The Distillation & Process team carry out a number of complex distillations and new technology experiments, perform the crude oil assays for Chevron Marketing and provide a number critical measurements in support of their refining operations both in the US and abroad.
