I am a Certified Engineering Technologist, and I recently left the oil and gas industry where I worked as a Field Operator, a Control Centre Operator, and most recently as a Trainer and Technical/ Procedure Writer. Compared to my peers I am endlessly curious, and I abhor rework. I am willing to put in extra effort up front to improve a system’s functionality; brainstorming new systems that work for a larger group, or that incorporate numerous, smaller systems reducing redundancy. I have a keen eye for redundancy and the bigger picture. My life’s mission is to reduce disorder, increase clarity and efficiency, and save our most precious resource - time. Whether that is in the form of reducing physical clutter, or virtual clutter like redundant spreadsheets and subfiles no one can find. I am looking for a new craft that I can put my enthusiasm and curiosity into. Since moving to Nova Scotia, I have been self-employed part-time as a Handyperson. I am interested in employment on a more structured basis.
