My adventure in the world of Accounting started when I took Principles of Accounts in Secondary 3. The ability to interpret and tell stories behind those numbers had spurred me on to pursue a Diploma in Accountancy from Temasek Polytechnic between the years 2013 and 2016. At Temasek Polytechnic, I was fortunate to have lecturers that brought education to life, and life to education through their illustrations of applying Accounting concepts to real world examples. This enriching experience subsequently led to my furtherance of studies with Nanyang Technological University (Nanyang Business School)'s Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy from 2018 to 2021. It was only here that doors to my current interest areas such as Business Compliance, Risk Management and Forensic Accounting were opened. I am fortunate to be able to secure my first job as a fresh graduate with PricewaterhouseCoopers in the area of Risk Assurance - Governance, Risk and Controls. However, one does not simply stop here. This is the beginning of another adventure, one that is laden with multiple uncertainties which serves to refine myself as a professional in the world of Business and Accountancy.
