I started my career as a process apprentice at Aylesford Newsprint (4 years) working my way up to a mill process operator where I was In charge of controlling continuous production of newsprint from fibre preparation, the paper machines and the finished product.Since moving to the engineering department and developing as a Mechanical Day Craft engineer (multi-skilled) at DS Smith, I am now supporting day to day operational activities with respect to planned/scheduled maintenance, Technical support for both planned and unplanned work and the development of the multi skilled craft team. In addition to this I will be involved in major site wide projects.
