I have worked as a senior teacher of English, a deputy head teacher, and an international coordinator for over 25 years. I have been a pioneer in developing and teaching distance learning courses at Sotunki Distance Learning Centre. In addition to my teaching experience, I have co-written 16 upper secondary school English textbooks for the Finnish publishing house SanomaPro. Currently I am working on the printed books for our series Elements, comprising of 8 upper secondary school English books and digital material for SanomaPro. I have extensive experience in international cooperation and project management, as well as experience in living and studying abroad. Developing learning has always been a passion of mine. At EduBorealis I am responsible for developing Erasmus+ teacher training courses and visits to Finnish schools, and I also work as an educational trainer at EduBorealis. In 2021 I joined the Finnish Matriculation Examination Board's group of censors, who are in charge of assessing the national school-leaving exams in Finland.
