I am a retired Colonel of the Italian Army with over 25 years of distinguished experience in logistics, strategic planning, and project management at national and international levels. Currently, I serve as a Logistics Analyst at NATO's Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE), where I contribute to the operational readiness and sustainment of NATO forces across diverse theaters. My career reflects a commitment to excellence, leadership, and innovation, ensuring mission success in high-pressure environments. Previously, I served as Head of Strategic Planning for the Defence Industry Section at the Italian National Armament Directorate, where I developed high-level defense industrial strategies to meet the operational needs of the Italian Armed Forces. This role required close collaboration with national and international stakeholders and further honed my ability to deliver strategic solutions in dynamic contexts. Throughout my career, I have held senior leadership positions that highlight my expertise in logistics and project management. In 2017, as Joint Logistic Planner, Project Manager, and Risk Manager at SHAPE and the Standing Joint Logistics Support Group HQ, I led NATO’s program to enable SACEUR's Area of Responsibility (AOR), enhancing the projection and sustainment of multinational forces. In 2014, as Logistic Coordinator Staff Officer at the ITA Army Support to Operations HQ, I optimized the Italian Army’s supply chain, introduced key performance indicators (KPIs), and managed projects for redundant infrastructure disposal. Earlier, as Logistic Branch Head and Facilities Manager at the 4th Tank Regiment, I oversaw regimental logistics and ensured seamless supply chain execution for operations and exercises. My early roles as Deputy Tank Company Commander and Company Commander provided valuable leadership experience, commanding 120 soldiers in challenging operational scenarios. I hold a Master’s Degree in Strategic Science (Political Science and Economics) and specialized Master’s degrees in Supply Chain Management and Marketing & Web Communication from Sole24ORE Business School. I also earned a Global MBA from the University of London, where I published a project on decision-making frameworks in the Aerospace and Defence Industry. Certified in PMP®, PRINCE2®, ITIL®, and M_o_R®, I am recognized for inspiring teams, fostering innovation, and consistently delivering impactful results, solidifying my reputation as a trusted leader in defense and logistics.
