I am an andragogy graduate and political scientist with more than 25 years of experience in the Czech Air Force, currently serving as the Senior Enlisted Leader (Command Sergeant Major) of the Czech Air Force. Andragogy is essentially the science of how adults learn – I focus on designing, delivering and evaluating training and leadership development for adults in demanding, high-risk environments. Throughout my military career I have been responsible for training, mentoring and developing soldiers and non-commissioned officers, as well as for implementing new concepts in command and control, air operations and joint cooperation. I am particularly interested in how well-designed education and leadership programmes can improve performance, decision-making and resilience under pressure.
