I’m a hands-on technical leader and PHP developer with over 15 years of experience building and scaling web applications — from custom platforms to enterprise systems. My career has taken me from general developer to team lead at Telia, and currently, I serve as the technical lead at a growing German startup providing a full-cycle insurance platform. At our startup, we’ve built a comprehensive insurance solution covering everything from contract creation and payments to claim handling. We're now focused on scaling to support hundreds of thousands of active contracts — modernizing legacy code, improving architecture, and driving performance with limited team resources. My core stack centers around PHP (Laravel, custom PHP frameworks, WordPress), but I also take a deep interest in observability and system performance. I’ve worked extensively with New Relic to identify bottlenecks and optimize backend systems, and I regularly dive into AWS management when needed. As a leader, I take a mentoring-by-doing approach — contributing directly to the codebase, supporting my team with code reviews, and driving quality through shared ownership and pragmatic solutions.
