Hafa Adai, I am Kiara D••• and I am currently a student at the University of Guam, pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. I am also planning on gaining certification in Cosmetology after my bachelors in business. As a Business Administration Major, I am eager to learn what it takes to be a successful businesswoman and develop skills from the business classes I have taken and will take. I currently aspire to become a successful entrepreneur with my own business and or a salon. My dream of becoming successful while doing what I love (cosmetics) drive me to one day make this happen. Throughout my education and work life, I have learned that I enjoy satisfying and giving out the best customer service/ experience and have one on one contact. I am a very creative, skillful, and determined individual. I always seek to find ways to better and improve my skills while giving my best performance. I also enjoy working with others. I believe it’s best to always listen to other people’s thoughts, ideas, and opinions and use it to improve yourself or a project. I am also able to work well by myself. I use all the resources that are around me to help reach my goal. I possess a combination of skills such as marketing, retail sales, graphic design, advertising, and cosmetics. I am also capable of successfully using softwares such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Excel, and Word Document. I was able to develop these skills from my high school career to present day. They have helped me successfully achieve a yearbook for my school in 2018, plan major events for school, give great customer service, be an outstanding sales associate, open myself up to do makeup freelancing, and a highly motivated student. Being able to give my best work/ performance while satisfying the needs of my customers/ clients is what motivates me to give my all and to never give up.
