Babatunde is a seasoned feed quality analyst cum livestock nutritionist and Consultant. He has about two decades of experience in various aspects of livestock industry. These include feed milling, poultry management, fish production, catfish fingerlings production and table size grow out. He had spent more than a decade in the area of QA, QC & Feed Quality Management via laboratory analysis of feed and raw materials. He led the team of analysts and nutritionists to record excellent performance in FAO-IAG Proficiency Test in 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017. Babatunde was selected to be among 23 scientists across the world by FAO in 2015 to study Laboratory Quality Systems at Texas A&M University on scholarship. He finished excellently with an average overall score of 96.0%. He had participated in several trainings both local and international to enrich his knowledge in Instrumentation, operational techniques of NIR, IR, HPLC, GC, AAS, Amino Acid Analyser, Quantum Magnetic Resonance Analyser, etc. He has an overflowing knowledge and trains scientists on various analytical procedures like Proximate analysis, Cyanide determination, Comprehensive oil analysis, Fibre fractions determination, phytochemicals determination, True Protein analysis, mineral analysis, Toxin determination via ELISA method, Feed microbiology, water analysis etc. He had positively affected the operations of various feed millers, farmers, and feed materials suppliers in Nigeria through post analysis support/consultancy services. Babatunde currently works as Senior Quality Manager in charge of Technical Lab & Extension Services of Animal Care where he coordinates & supervises the activities of several veterinarians, nutritionists, & feed analysts's QA & QC operations in 5 feed milling plants, seven Laboratories and FILAMAT(Training Unit) for effective delivery of technical solutions and positive impacts on livestock industry.
