Shujaat A••• is an independent researcher and conflict transformation practitioner specializing in the foreign and security policies of the South Caucasus, Russia, and Turkey. With years of experience in conflict transformation, he has led multitrack conflict transformation initiatives, particularly in the Armenian-Azerbaijani context and Afghanistan. As a project manager, Shujaat has designed and overseen youth-focused initiatives across 12 countries in wider Eurasia (South Caucasus, Central Asia, and the Middle East). In addition to his fieldwork, he has contributed to research, lectured on conflict analysis, international relations, and history, and provided policy briefings to diplomats and decision-makers. His analysis of the South Caucasus is frequently featured in international media, from "BBC" to the "New Yorker".
