Wim B••• is a scientist and entrepreneur in the field of remote sensing applications for agricultural water management and water resources engineering. He has executed project in more than 62 countries worldwide and is the original developer of SEBAL, Water Accounting Plus and ETLook models related to evapotranspiration, soil moisture, crop water productivity, water accounting and micro-scale agro-hydrological processes. His journal articles are well cited. He holds a professorship at Delft University of Technology where he further develops water accounting procedures. He is a distinguished speaker at several conferences, including World Economic Forum. His father was a reclamation pioneer of the Noordoostpolder, which has shaped Wim into a very practical person. Converting science into practice is fun for him. He is now the Product Ambassador of Hydrosat. Wim is married and has 4 children.
