About

On the record

With a decade of experience in public health research and 20+ years of experience in leadership roles in health and academia, I specialize in exploring the intersection of climate change and rural health outcomes, focusing on agricultural, income, and nutrition pathways. At UCSF's National Center of Excellence in Women's Health, I contributed to improving health equity in underrepresented communities, aligning my work with a mission-driven approach to sustainability and interdisciplinary collaboration. My goal is to support initiatives that foster community resilience and advance global health solutions. At UCSF, I led studies examining the health impacts of climate change on vulnerable populations, contributing to innovative research and actionable insights. Prior to this, I worked on the team spearheading the Climate Change and Health Curriculum Initiative across UC campuses, integrating environmental themes into health education. These roles required program management, collaboration, and a commitment to creating systemic change in public health education and policy.
