About
On the record
I am a space propulsion professional focused on electric propulsion in general and the development of Hall thruster based propulsion systems in particular. As a senior propulsion engineer at a big defense company I am engaged in several electric propulsion system projects from early development phase to on-board propulsion system implementation. As part of my duties I am also responsible for the professional and financial sections of the company’s R&D activities in the field of electric propulsion. The experience and expertise I gained during my PhD studies at Princeton University aid me in managing the various research and experimentation activities while maintaining my focus on project schedule and goals. In addition to my primary occupation I am teaching the electric propulsion course at the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology, with the purpose of educating students and training space propulsion engineers on the topic of electric propulsion. One main feature that best characterizes me is my extensive knowledge in past and present worldwide activities in the field of electric propulsion, from basic academic research to large propulsion platform integration endeavors. My objective is to keep contributing to electric propulsion development efforts and ultimately becoming a leading figure in the field.
