Jawad Shaikh is the President, CEO, and Chairman of the Board for the American University School of Medicine Aruba (AUSOMA) and previous Chief Strategy Officer at Streamline Health (NASDAQ: STRM). STRM provides a cloud-based platform for hospitals and health systems with solutions focused on key areas of the Revenue Cycle: Patient Financial Services, Revenue Integrity, Revenue Optimization, and Cost Savings. Jawad focused on growth via Corporate Development and Strategic Partnerships. Since 2018, Jawad had the opportunity to join his passion project combining Healthcare & Education to help train future care providers in healthcare at the American University School of Medicine Aruba (AUSOMA). Prior to STRM, Jawad was President & CEO of Avelead before its acquisition by Streamline Health with focus on managing innovation, services, and growth. This included managing day-to-day operations of the product & technology, services & delivery, sales & marketing, and providing oversight on Avelead’s overall growth strategy. Before Avelead, he was the founder and senior partner at Accision Health before its merger with Parallon Technology Solutions (Vision Consulting). After using advanced integration technologies at McKesson, Nike, DuPont, and United Healthcare, he started Accision in 2001 to help organizations implement and optimize enterprise solutions. In 2010, Jawad made the strategic decision to merge with Vision Consulting LLC, which later became Parallon Technology Solutions. His vision for delivering solutions in the form of healthcare technology-specific services and customized healthcare software offerings has already delivered results for clients nationally. Jawad has earned his technical leadership by investing 25 years in serving clients in a variety of capacities including innovation, architecture, engineering, and promoting Healthcare Information Technology. Specialties: Jawad's area of expertise include leadership, entrepreneurship, technology and finance in the Education, Healthcare and Revenue Cycle industries. He attended the Georgia Institute of Technology and Shorter College with focus on Business Management.
