Born in Belgium, happy father of two kids. I’m an experienced Manager in the Freight Forwarding and Logistics Industry. I worked in Belgium, Saudi Arabia, Japan, Vietnam and returned to Belgium in 2017. I am experienced in managing multi-cultural teams. I am analytical, target oriented, hardworking, capable to delegate & empower. My core values are respect, trust, equity and a high level of ethics. I have a strong focus on, and am personally engaged in Business Development, both in the local markets & during overseas business trips. I like working together with Sales and Key Account teams to ensure consistent above market growth. Customer service is always an important driver in my decisions. Protecting margins by guarding costs and driving productivity and efficiency increases come natural to me. I ensure to involve & include my team members. Democratic in decision making when possible, able to bite the bullet myself when I must.
