Hello, I am Diena! I am a teacher with a Bachelor of Education who is accustomed to delivering lesson based on international curriculums, inquiry-based learning concept, integrated learning fundamentals, and project-based assessments. I ground my education philosophy on inclusivity, holistic, and sustainable principles. I believe that every student is a complex individual with unique intelligence that deserves equal opportunities to pursue diverse aspirations. Taking into account both academic and non-academic aspects such as emotional, physical, social, and spiritual, the students become self-aware and capable of making meaningful connections with the world around them. I believe that education needs to go beyond the classroom torching the students to be lifelong Learners that can empower our community and take care of the environment they live in. Currently, I am a primary teacher at Green School Bali, a school that is deeply intertwined with nature and local culture. Here, nature is not only a classroom without walls but also a laboratory for direct exploration. Children learn through meaningful culturally-rich experiences while being encouraged to move and play outdoors to enhance their physical health. Apart from teaching, I am involved in several initiatives focused on empowering the younger generation to play an active role in societal development and environmental conservation. These efforts include organizing workshops on health and women's empowerment, leading campaigns against plastic waste, and spearheading community-driven environmental cleanup activities.
