Dr. philol. Ilze K••• is a senior researcher at the Institute of Humanities and Social Sciences at Daugavpils University (Latvia). She is a member of the Association for the Advancement of Baltic Studies (AABS). Her methodological expertise lies in comparative cultural and literary studies; she is the editor of “Journal of Comparative Studies.” She has broad experience in the implementation of international research projects, including within Framework Programmes for Research and Technological Development, e.g. the Horizon 2020 project “Cultural Heritage and Identities of Europe’s Future” (2018–2021). Currently she is involved in the Horizon Europe project "Promoting Understanding and Lifelong learning Successful Education through the ARTs and culture"(PULSE-ART)(2024–2027) funded by the European Commission; the project aims to produce compelling evidence illustrating the impact of arts on education to enhance CAE (pulseartproject.eu).
