I have 13 years of working experience with 12 years in the energy industry, commencing with my employment with the National Power Corporation, and four years with Regulatory functions. In the process of my engagements, I have developed proficiency in: • Regulatory and permitting monitoring and compliance • Lands management • Contracts monitoring • Project Stakeholder management • Government procurement processing I have handled various responsibilities which include: • Wrote and started with permitting applications and continued its processing until approval of permits with the DOE, NWRB, DENR, BIR, LGUs and DOLE, among others; • Monitored government regulatory issuance for proper and timely implementation; • Coordinated with regulatory agencies concerning plant and site inspection for onsite verification; • Provided management inputs on projected timeline of completion of various permitting issues as well as providing recommendation on how to address permitting and regulatory risks; • Accompanied contractors on site and project inspection to ensure correct communication; • Monitored timely and complete compliance of company reportorial submissions to ensure regular and uninterrupted plant operation; and • Monitored billings and payments to consultants and contractors related to compliance and legal group works. • Functioned as the Pollution Control Officer during the pre-operations phase of a manufacturing processing plant • Functioned as the Safetyman during the pre-operations phase of a manufacturing processing plant I’m very interested, and would thus be best positioned in Regulatory/Compliance Department with opportunities as a Safetyman and/or Pollution Control Officer.
