Currently consulting in implementation, analysis and operations. As your typical NZ IT person, I’ve done a lot of different things in a lot of different environments. Often we are faced with needing to implement large scale architectures with a total lack of expertise or man power. Number 8 fencing wire is the mentality. I’ve been there, done that, often by myself - and without the associated process, training and documentation it’s bound to fail. Great for project managers, terrible for everyone else.
