About
On the record
I am Javier L•••, graduated in Electronic Engineering at the University of Buenos Aires. I am currently doing a PhD in engineering at the same institution. As you can see in more detail in the CV that I attached, I have more than 10 years of experience in the area of graphic computing, image processing and vision, applied to two main areas: training and control simulators. The subject of my doctorate and my thesis is the image processing applied to the control of unmanned vehicles. My thesis was the design, development and testing of an optical flow sensor for use in a hexacopter, built on the embedded Edison-Intel platform. On the other hand, the image processing, based on the detection and extraction of information on the dynamics present in them and combined this with the fusion of data from several image sensors is the subject of my current doctorate. My training as an electronic allows me to work and often optimize graphic software for embedded platforms with limited resources. My experience in the field of simulation involves the design and development of graphic software. I have been part and directed some development groups in that area. In particular, as you can see in some publications, I have been part of the team that developed a graphic platform for the development of distributed simulators. The platform and simulators are develop in C++/ OpengGL - DirectX
