My name is Mariya B•••, and I hold a BA in Applied Geosciences from the German University of Technology in Oman (GUtech). My BA thesis focused on the Petrographic Analysis of Sedimentological Characteristics of the Meso to Late Arachne Lower Dhanjori Member, Jharkhand, India. Through my studies and research, I have developed a strong technical foundation in geology, with a particular passion for the petroleum field, especially in petrophysics and petroleum exploration. I have gained valuable experience in both laboratory and fieldwork, where I worked extensively on petrographic analysis, sedimentological studies, and geological mapping. My training at the Public Authority of Mining allowed me to deepen my knowledge of minerals, their exploration, and assessment processes. Additionally, I have completed Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) courses, which have enhanced my understanding of safety protocols and industry regulations in geosciences. Beyond my technical expertise, I have also been actively involved in conference organization, working with various teams to ensure the successful execution of multiple events. These experiences have strengthened my leadership, communication, and teamwork skills, which are essential for collaboration in both academic and professional settings. Throughout my academic and professional journey, I have developed several transferable skills, including time management, brainstorming, problem-solving, team leadership, and presenting complex data effectively. These skills, combined with my technical knowledge, allow me to adapt to various roles within the geosciences field. Additionally, I am fluent in Arabic and English and possess A1-level proficiency in German, which enables me to communicate with diverse professionals across different backgrounds. As part of my commitment to scientific research, I published a scientific paper in 2022, titled "Stratigraphic Status of the Dhanjori Formation, Singhbhum Craton, Eastern India and Its Implications." This publication reflects my dedication to advancing geological knowledge and contributing to academic research. I am eager to continue my professional growth and learning, staying up-to-date with the latest developments in geosciences and the petroleum industry.
