Mr. D••• spent his youth in Chicago, Utah and California. Richard graduated from Reseda High School, Reseda, CA; he then joined the US Navy, which sent him to the Naval Academy Preparatory School; after that the University of Nebraska as a History and Naval Science major within the NROTC program. He later transferred to the School of Architecture, University of Nebraska where he graduated in 1968. After living in Flagstaff, AZ for a year, Richard moved to Mesa where he completed his 3 year architectural internship with various Phoenix and Scottsdale firms. Architectural registration was granted in 1972, when Mr. D••• formed D••• Associates. Many commercial and residential projects were designed while in the Greater Phoenix area. Richard moved to the Prescott area in 1992 where carries on the profession as D••• Associates and Alliance architecture, LLC. The website is
