Samantha is a brand, communications, business development and marketing consultant with a decade of diverse, international experience. Samantha began her career as writer, photographer and editor for a Costa Rican Newspaper in the rural province of Guanacaste. Branching out from the traditional role of a journalist, Samantha cemented her place in the community and began providing marketing and communications content and consultation for various organizations, publications and businesses. Onward, Samantha was sought out to represent Canadian companies in their business interactions across Latin America. As director of Business Development with Canadavise International, Samantha worked to build partnerships between Canadian medical and environmental technology companies (WCI Environmental Solutions, MDS Nordion and Best Theratronics) and Latin American governments and corporations. Samantha has provided marketing, communications and business development consultation and execution to INGOs, community associations, municipal governments and private corporations in more than 15 different countries as diverse as England, Cuba, Haiti, U.S, Thailand, Colombia, Germany and Philippines.
