I joined Shimmer in October 2014 and integrated quickly into Shimmer's marketing and sales operations with particular responsibility for Shimmer's US academic and enterprise customers. Currently based in Shimmer's Boston office. In October 2014 I enrolled in the Irish Management Institute as part of Enterprise Ireland's G4IG Programme. This course is further developing my skills is areas such as; Marketing and Sales, International Growth Strategies, International Market Penetration, International Cultural Awareness and Skills & International Market Execution in preparation for my relocation to Shimmer's Boston office in 2016. In 2013 I completed an MBS in Electronic Commerce. This course equipped me with a range of technical, business and analytical skills, which developed further as part of my internship programme with mocks.ie, which progressed to a full permanent position in October 2013. This course allowed me to acquire skills is areas such as business systems analysis and design; database design (SQL); applications development (VB.NET); internet and multimedia development (Adobe Dreamweaver); business policy; human-computer interaction and electronic commerce strategy. The internship exposed me to the dynamics of Digital Marketing and e-commerce. I graduated from GMIT in 2010 with a Bachelor of Business in Marketing 2.1 Degree.
