for more informations visit my website: The german soprano Alexandra K••• received her first voice instruction at the age of 16 before she began studying with Prof. Thomas Quasthoff at the “Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler Berlin” in 2007. During her studies she stayed one year with Prof. Valerie Guillorit at the “Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse” in Paris before she came back to Berlin to finish her studies with Prof. Renate Faltin in 2015. Already a member of KS Julia Varady's opera class during her studies, Alexandra K••• complemented her studies by attending masterclasses with KS Brigitte Fassbaender, Prof. Regina Werner-Dietrich and Robert Dean Smith. The soprano participated in many roles during her studies, like Amore in “L'incoronazione di Poppea” (C. Monterverdi) under the direction of Wolfgang Katschner, Damoisselle in “La Damoissle élue” (C. Debussy) at the HAU1 in Berlin, Dorinda in “Orlando” (G.F. Händel), Serpina in “La serva padrona” (G.B. Pergolesi), Madame Poiretapée in “Mesdames de la halle” (J. Offenbach) under the direction of Jean-Christophe Keck or Euridice in “Orfeo ed Euridice” (C.W. Gluck). She sang as well successful the role of Wally in the opera for children “Die Geiwally” (after “La “Wally” by A. Catalani) at the TON:arten Festival in Sasbachwalden 2013 and at the Theater Gütersloh in 2015. A further focus in her work of Alexandra K••• are concerts and art songs. In Berlin she sang among others the Markus Passion (J.S. Bach) and the Magnificat (J. Rutter). For recitals she works often together with the art song pianist Alexander Fleischer.
