Caroline is an experienced emergency manager with over 10 years of broad experience in multiple sectors across humanitarian and natural disaster response, field leadership, and executive coaching for private nonprofit, for-profit corporate, national/international non-government organization (NGO), and governments at the local, state and federal levels. Currently deployed to Ukraine, Caroline is serving as the Incident Commander for the Augustae Annia Foundation in support of local volunteer organizations, international NGOs and combat/tactical medical units. She provides field operations mission planning and response overwatch, in addition to tactical medicine instruction for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Caroline holds 26 professional certifications in the domestic Incident Command System (ICS) from the FEMA Emergency Management Institute, including ICS-300 & ICS-400, in addition to certifications in Tactical Combat Casualty Care - Combat Medic / Corpsman CMC), Technical Project Management for WASH Emergencies, SALT Mass Casualty Triage, and BSAFE. She has completed her Bachelor’s degrees in Psychology (Biopsychology & Cognitive Neuroscience) with a minor in Exercise Science, and has her Master’s degree in Emergency and Disaster Management. Caroline is the founder and Managing Partner of the Augustae Annia Firm, as well as the President and Incident Commander of the attached Augustae Annia Foundation.
