Hello. I am a senior student at Ankara University in the Department of Food Engineering. During my university education, I worked as a waitress to improve myself socially and financially. Then, I gained professional experience by doing my 6-week compulsory summer internship at the Ankara Food Control Laboratory Directorate under the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry. During the internship, in the Chemical Analysis Laboratory, I have done acidity determination, HMF determination, polar substance analysis, determination of methyl alcohol and volatile compounds in distilled alcoholic beverages, determination of saponin, sugar determination, moisture determination in spices; Pesticide determination in the Residue Analysis Laboratory; Denatonium benzoate determination, nitrite-nitrate determination, dye determination from water, sorbic acid benzoic acid determination, dye determination, natamycin determination in Additive Analysis Laboratory; Determination of insoluble matter in water, determination of humidity, determination of ash in the Physical Analysis Laboratory; Determination of pharmaceuticals, determination of hormones in Origin Determination Laboratory. In addition to gaining experience in the analysis and reporting of many food products by performing GMO Screening, soybean type determination, and quantification; in the Molecular Biology Laboratory, I learned to use TOF-MS, PCR, HPLC, LC, GC-MS, GC-MS/MS, LC-MS/MS, LC-MS, HPLC-UV devices. During my university education period, I gained competence in MS Office, AutoCAD, MATLAB, SPSS, and STATGRAPHIC programs. Being a person who has strong communication skills, is prone to teamwork, attaches importance to sustainability, is responsible, takes quick action in case of problems, and acts solution-oriented in my daily life, my career goals include playing an active role in the field as a Quality and Production Engineer.
