Lauren B••• is a 23-year-old advocate from Blanchardstown, Ireland, dedicated to human rights, youth empowerment, and global policy change. Currently serving as Ireland’s UN Youth Delegate, she actively works to amplify youth voices in international policy-making. In addition to her role at the UN, she is a legal consultant for a human rights NGO and a final-year law student at Trinity College Dublin, with a diploma in Spanish Legal Studies from Comillas Pontifical University in Madrid. Lauren has represented Ireland at prominent forums worldwide, including the Council of Europe, the UN Commission on Narcotic Drugs in Vienna, and UNGA 79 in New York. She recently joined Trinity College Dublin’s delegation to COP29, reinforcing her commitment to climate action and sustainability. An active advocate within European youth networks, Lauren is the Dublin Coordinator for JEF Ireland and part of groups like the Youth Regional Network and the ESDN Youth Network. Her extensive European experience includes impactful policy initiatives as Ireland’s Youth Delegate to the Council of Europe, where she contributed to youth-driven recommendations for government action and ensured that young voices shaped critical monitoring reports. At home, Lauren is a member of the Young Professionals Network at the IIEA and has held leadership roles in ELSA Ireland. Volunteerism remains central to her values. She supports organizations such as the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, teaches English to refugees, and recently volunteered at the World Food Forum, underscoring her commitment to global food security. Through her role as Ireland's UN Youth Delegate, she champions inclusive policy development, striving to create a more just and sustainable world.
