I got into the blockchain space in 2020, but the road started earlier. I began trading binary options on fiat currencies — a chaotic, inefficient space with outdated charts and low mathematical expectations. I lost everything I had invested, but I walked away with something more valuable: the drive to truly understand financial markets. That also opened the door to crypto. I switched majors, earned a Corporate Finance degree from IBS in Budapest (graduating with honors and a thesis on Decentralized Hedge Funds), then completed my MSc in Finance at CEU. My capstone at BrokerChooser (an in-depth assessment of cryptocurrency brokers) was recognized as the best in our cohort. Early on, I worked as a cryptocurrency coach, teaching US- and Australia-based business executives practical skills in the crypto space. Then, at Ernst & Young, I worked in the valuation department and developed a methodology that helped advance the regional blockchain ecosystem. This has led me to creation of a few startup projects, such as AristoQuant where I managed a team of 14. Today, I’m a Scientific Researcher funded by the Austrian Science Fund, pursuing a PhD in Blockchain and Environmental Sustainability at Modul University Vienna. I also serve as Head of Growth at DLT Austria, where we drive Web3 innovation toward mass adoption and industry breakthroughs through multi-format educational content and networking sessions. What keeps me going? Working with sharp, ambitious people and the clarity that comes from focus, speed, and smart execution. I collaborate with individuals, startups, and institutions building innovative Web3 solutions or conducting serious academic research.
