He started his professional studies at the Royal Central School of Speech & Drama (RCSSD) in 2012, obtaining a ‘Certificate of High Studies’ from the undergraduate course (BA) HONS, Drama, Applied Theatre and Education. He graduated in 2017 from Centro Universitario de Teatro (CUT), at UNAM where he was awarded for being one of the three top grades of his generation. He has published poetry in journals like Ágora from Colegio de México, Opción, from ITAM, and Afluente, from the Faculty of Social Sciences at UNAM. In 2015, he co-founded the theatre Journal La Barraca, with the economic support of UNAM and CUT. He directed his first theatre play in 2016, that was presented on the XXIV International Theatre Festival at UNAM and he was awarded the scholarship Incubadoras Teatrales that CUT and UNAM grant to one theatre group every year to his project Memoria Concreto, a theatre play that combines film and theatre, and that he developed with colleagues from the National Film School at UNAM, where he was responsible of the playwriting.
