Over the past 9+ years, I’ve built my career at the intersection of trading strategy, operational oversight, and risk management, with a deep focus on FX, Metals, Bonds, and CFDs. My experience spans both retail and professional markets in English and Russian-speaking regions, helping shape more resilient, compliant, and profitable trading environments. Today, as Risk Manager at MetaQuotes, I’m leading risk management efforts for the company’s new matching engine and liquidity aggregation project, a trading infrastructure used by thousands of brokers worldwide. My work includes: Designing systems to analyze client trading activity and classify strategies. Creating metrics and automated alerts to detect and mitigate risky or undesirable trading behaviors. Collaborating with IT to develop advanced analytical tools and enhance order execution and routing logic. Managing real-time exposure, setting dynamic limits, and optimizing profitability across instruments and strategies. My passion lies not only in analyzing market behavior, but also in understanding the psychology behind trading decisions, and turning those insights into robust risk frameworks and smarter execution logic. Previously, as a team lead in Deriv’s Dealing/Trading R&A division, I mentored global teams, instilled best practices, and bridged the gap between local market needs and global strategy. Mentorship, knowledge-sharing, and cross-team collaboration remain core to how I approach leadership. I’m always looking to exchange ideas around: Building scalable, proactive risk frameworks.
