I opened one of the first internet cafe's in South Africa, this experience got me interested in finding a solution to deliver the internet to people in South Africa faster and more cost effective. I developed and designed the 1st wireless wifi network in South Africa in Johannesburg in as Technical Director for Wisp. From there my experience grew in leaps and bounds bringing in the full range of ISP services into my own start up company WNC holdings, which i sold to Basileus Capital. I have always wanted to develop a first tier ISP and have now achieved that with Broadband Wireless delivering dedicated wireless, VoIP, video and WIMAX in South Africa. Broadband Wireless is a national licensed operator in South Africa delivering the whole range of ISP services. Broadband Wireless also has a wholesale VOIP division, with wholesale VOIP routes into Africa and the rest of the world. Broadband Wireless has carrier class switches in Teraco data-centres in South Africa. Broadband Wireless will also soon be launching its IPTV and Video on Demand service in South Africa then into the rest of Africa. We also the first to offer up to 200 Mbps on wireless and 1 Gbps on fibre. I take pride in what i have designed and put into practise, i will be introducing new products and segments into the network in the next year, which is really going to make us stand out from the crowd. We have already attracted corporate clients with our up to 200 Mbps wireless service, our prices can also not be beaten!
