With degrees in art history and sociology, followed by a degree in music management and administration, Irina B••• is currently Development Advisor for the Insula Orchestra (Laurence Equilbey) in Paris, with a focus on international prospective, innovation, and sustainability. Previously she was General Manager of La Fenice, a Baroque music ensemble (2008-2011); Director of communication and partnerships for the French Institute in China, and India (2011-2017) and CEO of The Neemrana Music Foundation an NGO promoting western classical music in India through operas and workshops (2017-2018). Back in France in 2018, she was part of the #Lab19 of the Institut des Futurs Souhaitables in 2018/2019, a cycle of reflection about foresight and sustainable development. From June 2019, she worked on the development of the Domaine international de Boisbuchet, a place dedicated to design and experimentation. She joined the Insula orchestra team in January 2021 to follow major innovative projects. She is an auditor for the third session of the Cycle des Hautes Études de la Culture of the French Ministry of Culture, where she was part of the Europe and international think thank.
