Dr. D. Teepica Priya Darsini Ph.D. holder in Life Sciences with the specialization in Biotechnology possess 19 years of experience in teaching at educational institutions which includes worked as an Associate Professor in department of Biotechnology which includes teaching research administration and Co-ordinator of the department of School of Life Sciences Karpagam University. Served as the principal investigator of DST (Govt. of India) funded research project and supervised 3 research scholars towards their doctoral degrees. Taught Biology and Environmental systems (ESS) with International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (IBDP) and Central Broad of Secondary Education(CBSE) at Chinmaya Residential International School (CIRS Coimbatore). Underwent Professional development workshop IBDP – CATEGORY-2 worth 17.5 hours (14-17 October 2017) at Tanglin Trust School Singapore organized by IB Global centre Singapore. Taught Biology with Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) at DISHA - A Life School. Taught Biology with Cambridge and Pearson curriculum at IGSCE IAL Levels IBDP at Manchester International School. Worked and attended the IBDP authorization verification for the biology in preparing course outlines and documentation. During this period I have developed upon learning teaching mentoring and administrative research skills. My experience enables me to teach Biology in creative and application-oriented perspective. With the experience acquired and keen interest in teaching and made to apply for the above position. Provided with an opportunity I am confident that I will make positive contributions with the position assigned to me.
