From advising our clients on how to maximize their Puerto Rico R&D tax credit claims, to contributing to Puerto Rico's economic development efforts through science and technology—I am deeply passionate about having a positive and significant impact on innovation-driven businesses and the Island’s global competitiveness- I take great professional pride and am personally humbled by the privilege of contributing so broadly to the lives of so many people - I leverage my deep, unparalleled knowledge of Puerto Rico’s R&D tax credit program to support the growth and success of companies that rely on science and technology innovation to sustain their businesses in Puerto Rico. My expertise in industrial innovation and strategic planning was cultivated during my 17-year tenure at the Puerto Rico Department of Economic Development and Commerce (DEDC), where I developed and managed the R&D tax credit program and led improvements to increase its measurable outcomes. In public service, I impacted over 70 companies, including 40 high-technology manufacturing facilities, across a broad range of industry sectors—pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical devices, aerospace, electronics, IT, renewable energy, consumer products, food and beverage, agriculture, and finance- Since joining DECA Analytics, I’m excited to build on my experience to support innovative companies. My role here promises a broader impact than ever before in my career - At DECA Analytics, I collaborate with our extensive network of strategic partners and associates—InvestPR, PR Science Trust, DEDC, among many others—to achieve extraordinary outcomes for Puerto Rico’s economy and our clients. For Puerto Rico: I will leverage my expertise and networks to increase external investment, establish businesses from emerging sectors, advance cutting-edge technologies, foster industry-academia collaborations and research, support human capital development, and further strengthen Puerto Rico’s industrial innovation capabilities.
