I am a public health professional and have worked for around six years particularly in epidemiological studies with observational and experimental study designs. My experience includes planning conducting coordinating and managing a variety of research activities in diverse settings. Most of the research projects where I worked had study sites in remote rural areas of North-east and Northern part of India. I had successfully built and maintained strong collaborative relationships with team members of implementation partners and key policy stakeholders. I supported in preparing ethics application for Institutional Review Boards (IRBs) presented study protocol during stakeholder engagements liaised with multiple stakeholders at different levels to ensure their support for smooth progress of the projects and tracked progress of study implementation through direct communication with local partners and site visits. I have worked in both qualitative and quantitative research methods. I assisted in developing primary data collection instruments for qualitative and quantitative data collection conducted comprehensive literature reviews prepared consent forms collected qualitative data (by conducting FGDs IDIs) and quantitative data trained field investigators for collecting quantitative and qualitative data analyzed qualitative data and maintained study documentation. I wrote monitoring reports and supported in writing grants project reports and progress reports for funders. I have strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills. I conducted rigorous and extensive monitoring of implementation of study procedures and data collection in study sites. I ensured timely collection of good quality data as well as ensured that research activities were conducted as per protocol and in alignment with IRB approved practices. While working in Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) Government of India (GoI) the focus of work was health system strengthening and programme implementation. I was also a team member for 10th and 11th Common Review Mission (CRM) that evaluated State level health systems on behalf of the MoHFW GoI. I am conversant in SPSS for quantitative data analysis and NVivo Pro 11 and ATLAS.ti for qualitative data analysis. I have used Endnote and Mendeley for managing references. I was supervisor/ line manager for field research assistants and interns. Employment authorization- Yes (H4 EAD)
