A CA and a CFA charter holder with ~15 years of hands-on experience in project financing, financial closure, strategic advisory, financial and wealth planning, financial modeling, government liaising, budgeting, auditing, and so forth. Currently, I work as a Financial and Economic Consultant at IBN. Previously I worked at Upper Trishuli -1 project (NWEDC) where I looked after the project finance of the company incl. FA and Financial Closure process, hedging, swap agreements, and other matters. I have also worked as Head of Research/Corporate Advisory/Compliance at Nabil Invest (a leading investment bank in Nepal) where I provided investment advice for large international clients, prepared valuation of IPO/FPO, and developed a process for local share allocation for small hydropower, etc. Other experiences include working for Triveni Group, Chaudhary Group, RR Donnelley, and some others. Colleagues know me as an Excel expert and a problem solver who can always be trusted for new alternative solutions. I spend a lot of time understanding business and the audience before suggesting ideas. I can (and often do) work well alone, but I’m at my best collaborating with others.
