My current work is focusing on unravelling targetable immune cell subpopulations and molecular factors associated with disease progression in patients with cutaneous T cell lymphoma (CTCL), the later a rare and understudied group of malignancies. I am currently utilising advanced technologies including single cell sorting and single cell RNA sequencing to phenotypically and molecularly characterise changes in the immune response and malignant cell population in blood of CTCL patients. Our goal is to improve understanding of the biological mechanisms underlying CTCL progression and discover novel prognostic molecular biomarkers and therapeutic targets.
