As the Chief Product Officer at the African Management Institute (AMI), Bronwen has spearheaded the strategic development of products that have reached over learners from 39 different countries since 2013. Under her leadership, AMI’s Learning and Product teams have produced more than hours of video based course content, and practical tools (downloaded 2M times) to support improved business and employee performance across Africa. Her role includes overall responsibility for AMI’s robust and research-backed learning methodology, all product and content development, including AMI’s bespoke learning platforms, and practical tool-based training programmes, that fuel their Pan-African impact data engine. Bronwen has been instrumental in driving AMI’s mission of fostering resilience and sustainable business practices across Africa. Her efforts have led to tangible results, such as the significant business growth experienced by clients like Ensapuh Veterinary Services in Nigeria, which reported a 67% revenue increase and the creation of 12 jobs within a year. Additionally, initiatives under her guidance have supported Kenyan youth entrepreneurs at Orac Branding to boost their revenue by 70% in 2022, leading to the creation of 10 new jobs. Her strategic focus on developing robust learning solutions and impactful programs has positioned AMI as a leader in skills development across the continent, empowering entrepreneurs and business leaders to thrive even amidst challenging economic conditions. Prior to joining AMI, Bronwen served as the founding Managing Director at Fuse School, where she led the development and delivery of innovative educational content to enhance learning outcomes. Her pioneering work at Fuse School set a strong foundation for her subsequent focus on scalable, impactful educational solutions in the African context.
