Co-founder and Architect at Kadrovi Studio

About

On the record

I am a PhD researcher in Architecture, specializing in revitalizing 20th-century cultural centers. My work explores the intersection of architectural heritage, sustainability, and the aesthetics of ruins, examining how these elements can be reimagined in contemporary design. By studying the transformation of historical spaces, I aim to discover innovative ways to honor the past while creating environments that address present and future needs. • In addition to my research, I am the founder and principal of a design studio that embraces a non-commercial, eclectic approach to architecture. The studio focuses on architectural revitalization and preservation, emphasizing maintaining the integrity of historic structures while adapting them for modern use. Architecture should tell a story, and I am committed to designing spaces that honor buildings' cultural significance and history while incorporating thoughtful, modern interventions. • Through academic research, writing, and design practice, I strive to bridge the gap between historical context and contemporary needs. My approach is rooted in the belief that sustainable and meaningful architecture can create spaces that resonate deeply with people while also responding to our society's evolving demands. I am passionate about pushing the boundaries of how we understand architectural heritage and its role in shaping tomorrow's built environment.
